While abroad, I was fortunate enough to have one of my articles selected for a monthly local magazine in the city of Florence, Italy. This particular piece was written on fashion boutiques both within and outside of the city's center. The article was titled, "Chic in the City: A Florence Fashion Itinerary."

During the four months I spent in Europe, I ate many different cuisines and tried new foods. I ended up finding a little vegetarian restaurant in Florence, and it was delicious. It was the first piece I would ever write about food, and even though it wasn't a feature article, it made it into a local American newsletter that's popular among those studying abroad and living in the city.

Over the years, I have improved in my InDesign and Photoshop skills. I can create a brochure, flyer, magazine advertisement, invitation, social media calendar, letterhead, business cards, and newsletter content and layout for a fictional fashion accessories retailer.

As an off-staff writer for my university’s paper, I was given the opportunity to write a feature article for the entertainment section of the newspaper.In which, I discussed an upcoming singing sensation we all now recognize by the name Bruno Mars.
